Ramsey PBA presents Eagle Scout with PBA Award for Excellence
On May 2nd 2010, Ramsey PBA President Marc A. Shingelo attended the Troop 31 Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award Ceremony.
An Eagle Scout Award is the highest rank that a scout can achieve and only a select number of all young men in the Boy Scouts have ever achieved this honor.
President Shingelo presented Ramsey resident, Brendan Walsh with the Ramsey PBA Local # 155 Certificate of Excellence. "It was a complete honor for me to attend this great event for Brendan, I am extremely proud of this young man's commitment and accomplishments," said Shingelo.
The Ramsey PBA has been supporting the Boy Scouts for many years in Ramsey. Recently President Shingelo authorized funds towards Troop 31 Eagle Scout projects so the Boy Scouts could earn their Merit Badges that would qualify them in receiving their Eagle Scout recognition.

Las Vegas Night
A fundraiser for the Ramsey PBA
Sponsored by The Ramsey Knights of Columbus
The Las Vegas Night fundraiser was a huge success. The attendees supported the Ramsey PBA and the Knights of Columbus. The night consisted of Texas Hold 'em, Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps. The large crowd was treated to a tremendous buffet-style dinner cooked by a professional chef. The night was capped by a raffle for over 70 prizes including a 37-inch LCD television.
The Ramsey PBA thanks the Knights of Columbus who organized this event. The Knights of Columbus are true supporters of our union and we will never forget the gracious offer and hard work they contributed for this fundraiser.
We also thank all the businesses that donated prizes to make the evening complete. The event would not have been so much fun without those prizes.
The Duprees
The Ramsey PBA thanks all who attended and all who supported The Duprees concert on May 2, 2008. The event was a success and everyone left with a smile on their face. The Duprees met many of the concert attendees in the lobby, after the concert, where they signed autographs for their fans.
We truly appreciate The Duprees and what they have done for our organization.
A special thank you to Don Bosco High School who provided their auditorium and created an intimate environment for The Duprees to play in. The Don Bosco High School family has always supported the Ramsey PBA. We cannot thank them enough for that support.
